What is the difference between the 20mm circular Heavy Duty Magnet bases and the 20mm circular flexible steel bases? Which one is stronger??? I ordered the 20mm circular Heavy Duty Magnets but if the flexible steel ones are stronger then I would rather use those. They are for the Firelock Games pirates. Also, what is the thickness for each of those bases?
The flexible steel has no magnetic strength whatsoever.... but magnets will stick to it.
The Heavy Duty base bottoms themselves are only 0.030 inches thick. Keep in mind that they have a peel-n-stick backing and must be attached to an actual base. The base bottoms themselves are very flexible and not capable of supporting much on their own.
