I live in the UK. How do I track my order? (via Postal Service)

Kenneth Litko -

Parcel Tracking to the United Kingdom / Great Britain / England / Scotland (Postal Service)

Tracking your parcel from the USA to the UK can be a little tricky, but the pain can be minimised by knowing where to look for tracking information. Once at your local post office, you generally have a thirty-day window in which to take delivery before they send your parcel back to us. They may deliver it direct to your door, or you may need to pick up your parcel and pay import duty.

When LITKO ships your order it is assigned a customs number by the USPS (United States Postal Service). This number serves as your tracking number. It takes the form:

LZ000000000US

(The 0's will be an actual series of numbers, and are used here for illustrative purposes only.)

Each day a pickup manifest is generated and your parcel is accepted into the system on that manifest and will be shown as 'ACCEPTED' when tracked.

Initially, tracking begins with the USPS:

Once your parcel reaches the UK, it is handed off to either Royal Mail or Parcelforce and better tracking is had there:

Royal Mail Tracking

Parcelforce Tracking

Your parcel can be detained by customs at either the US port of export or the UK port of import. We have no control over this. This information is usually displayed in the tracking.

Calling and talking to the personnel at your local post office can be a great help in making the delivery process as painless as possible.

If you have questions about tracking your parcel, please contact us (and please include your order number).
